Farmers Market continues through October

The Farmer's Market continues through October. Located south of the Falls City Library every Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. In the southwest booth you will find Ben and Sandy Bachman along with Reggie Johansen selling all varieties of fresh fruit pies (no canned fruit), there will be apple, cherry, gooseberry, blackberry blueberry, strawberry-rhubarb, pecan pies. All pies are 9" and DEEP DISH with a lot of fruit. Also, you will find whole wheat and white homemade bread, 10" long johns, and Reggies famous beaver tails (a deep fried sweet bread that has been dipped in cinnamon and sugar) Also other fresh goodies!!!!!!! O get there early before your want is gone! See you there!  For safety, traffic will not be allowed in the lot during market hours.

Falls City Library & Arts Center will be holding a Gallery Talk Thursday, September 2nd at 7:00 p.m. 

Come see the Southwestern Art:  Wenger Collection and hear Dr. Gregg & Melinda Wenger speak.  The exhibit will be open from September 2nd through October 16th.

 

 

 

September 11th

 

New Ball Field Improvement Project; PSC football vs. Buena Vesta College, September 11th, 4:00 p.m., Jug Brown Stadium.

All proceeds go to the Ball Field Improvement Project.

LogoZone Begins!  Wednesday, September 15th at First Church.

Benefit Supper for Janice Avery-Sunday, September 19th at Trinity United Methodist Church in Rulo, NE.  Serving from 5:00-6:00pm.

Vienna Boys' Choir to appear in concert in Falls City

The world-renowned Vienna Boys' Choir - founded by Emperor Maximilian I in 1498 -

will present a matinee concert at Prichard Auditorium in Falls City on Sunday, October 31. This special concert has been arranged by June Bowers, who is chairing the event on behalf of the Richardson County Arts and Humanities Council.
